    When I first ordered this a bonkers delivery charge came up making this insanely expensive. I immediately cancelled it but it said it was too soon. I didn’t stop until I could ask to cancel it but the seller declined cancelling it and sent it out anyway. It has now arrived not even packaged properly, it’s leaked everywhere and there was one rubbish bit of paper with it, of course it would get broken! He couldn’t even be bothered to package it protectively. Rip off

    The seller's listing describes that the bottle of leather oil came with a wool dauber attached to the inside of the cap. However, upon receiving my Obenauf's Leather oil and opening the lid, I discovered that there was no wool dauber whatsoever ! .... I contacted the seller and told him of my plight. He obliged and sent me a refund. I suggested he charge his description text in his auction. I don't believe that he has done so that this time.

    Comprehensive set

    I obtained this for my now grown son who loved Calvin and Hobbes as a young child. This is a Christmas present that I am certain he will cherish for years on end!! My son is now a well established member of the status quo who "has it all" and one person who I cannot seem to surprise anymore. I want to see that little boy glimmer of joy one more time before I leave this earth and I am quite sure this volume of books will do the trick. Thank you so much. As a "kicker", I have crocheted a large Hobbes to go along with the books. That will really embarrass the hell out of him!!

    The Complete Calvin & Hobbes- paperback

    Watterson captures so well the precocious, and yet philosophical, imagination of a perpetual child. Laughter will fill this fun read, pass it on when you're done. Bought one for my son, who has 5 & 7 year old boys that put their parents through their paces. Kids love it and adults hold these books dear.

    Great Purchase!

    The soft cover books come in a great case that make is extra-special. The art in the books are vivid and bright. I originally wanted the individual books but having everything in these four books not only keeps is simpler but also allows the books to read like a big story. I love this series and plan on buying another special set to introduce this hilarious and innocent character to my nephews when they're old enough.

    calvin and hobbes complete collection

    I bought this set from Barnes and noble Inc. on eBay the shipping box looked like it had been kicked or something but fortunately the actual book set had no damage to it so I got lucky but ups needs to be more gentle with there packages as for the set its self it seems to be well made there are however some minor blemishes on the pages from some sort of factory mishap they aren't bad blemishes and some are barely noticeable none of the blemishes are on the comic strips them selves so for me its not a big deal as I was already aware that on some of the 1st edition soft bound there was minor light brown or orangish color smudged In little speckles hear and there but again not on the comics themselves the comic strips are clean crisp and on high-grade paper I am going to really enjoy this ...

    EXCELLENT and truly COMPLETE collection of one of the greatest comic strips ever drawn.

    Great book collection. I remembered these strips from when they first cam out. I owned every book collection of them and of course got rid of them thinking he would keep writing them. I was very disappointed when he quit writing them but understood. I introduced them to my family members and they fell in love with them. My dog thinks I'm crazy at times because I start laughing when I am reading them and he looks confused. The collection is is the COMPLETE collection of his work and the paperbacks weight a bit since they are so thick. The books are put together nicely and even tell when the strips originally ran, making me feel old thinking about when I was reading them. I highly recommend these books for anyone that was a Calvin and Hobbs fan and let's face the facts, if you read them at ...
