so i bought a item, the LCD screen didn't work, i bought the item as 'new' - open box......received it, immediately informed them that the LCD screen didn't work - they respond by telling me to change the batteries. I had already changed batteries with new 'unopened' package of batteries - didn't work. They left me hangin' with no solution... not even a 'return for a full refund suggestion was mentioned'.....no correspondence after their brilliant suggestion to change the batteries.

Better than the name brand
I have a Panasonic Lumix FZ 1000. For me it is the best of both worlds, point and shoot and manual. Trying to find a timer remote was a battle. Of course Panasonic has one. But, the price! This product produces everything I need for my night shots for a fraction of the price. I had to do a lot of searching before I found this, but patience paid off. Happy picture shooting. :)
