He went to Amazon and ordered / sent me the similar item but with a plastic container, which is $12 less. The package was even sent from Amazon, AMZ placed a Gift Receipt in the box so I can at least get partial credit there of $29, so he is ripping me off (paid $41) and is stealing from Amz. I was sent Flents Protechs rubbery with latex. the seller said these are Flents' new model, and I believe that, and I ordered them here on ebay from this seller, in bulk(!) because I wanted the older version, and that's what the seller listed, so I believed the photos and description. the seller refused to allow a return and refund.

I used the dehorning paste on a 6 week old half brahma/half jersey bull calf whose horn buds were close to being thru the skin. I tied the calf to a tree and then shaved the area and put petroleum jelly around the area to be treated. I would recommend putting the jelly over a large area. I scraped the horn bud and applied the paste with a popsicle stick. It took about 3-5 minutes for the calf to start reacting to the burning. I ended up cross tying the calf to keep him from rubbing the paste off with the rope and getting it all over his head. He did get some on his ears and above his eyes. I scrubbed it off with soap and water on those areas. I can definitely see why it says to use it on very young calves. They are much easier to control. The horn buds were gone in about an hour. Time will tell
I used this about 2 weeks ago on my baby goats. So far it looks like it is working. The little horns stopped growing but otherwise look the same as before treated. Use it as soon as you feel the horn buds. The older they are the more pain it causes them. It is very difficult to do this because of the pain and screaming but it is 30 minutes of this or a lifetime of getting hit in the face or legs with those long horns.I used this about 2 weeks ago on my baby goats.
