The boldly colored, impressively sculpted Hasbro Transformers 2 Revenge of the Fallen: Voyager Class Stratosphere Robots action figure stands out on a Transformer collector’s display shelf, and at 11 inches tall in humanoid form he makes an imposing foe for the play time adventures of younger fans. In the Paramount Pictures Transformers sequel directed by Michael Bay, the Fallen is introduced as the first Decepticon, one of the thirteen original Primes. Eons ago, he betrayed his brothers, seeking to drain the power from Earth’s sun without a care for what it would do to the primitive humans they discovered on the little planet. His plan was thwarted and his body destroyed, but the Fallen escaped with his life, retreating to a distant star system aboard his ship, the Nemesis, where he plans his revenge. From here he orchestrated the formation of an evil Transformer army, the true power behind all their attempts to conquer the stars. After the events of the box office hit first film, villains Megatron and Starscream retreat to the Nemesis to report their failure to their recovering master, revealing that they were mere accessories to a much grander threat. They had been tasked with capturing the legendary AllSpark, which was destroyed in the climactic battle by young human Sam Witwicky. However, the Fallen has new information, that the Spark secretly lives on inside Sam. He shows up on Earth, and hatches a plot to capture Sam and extract the essence, using it to return to his former glory. It is up to Optimus Prime, Bumblebee, the remnants of the Autobot army and the returning cast of human allies played by stars Shia LaBeouf, Megan Fox and Josh Duhamel to defeat the all-powerful enemy, before he gets his revenge and finishes what he started so long ago. Children recreate the dramatic events of the film, as Optimus tries to protect Sam from the antagonist’s deadly revenge plot, or create their own wild adventures. In humanoid form, the character’s giant, angular form, with body details inspired by ancient Egyptian culture, and his blazing red and orange paint job, found only on this version of the figure, make him a unique addition to the battlefield. This is one that fuels the imaginations of young minds. His fierce spaceship form, brimming with strange, alien details, lets him pursue his quarry, Sam, through any conditions.
