LOVE this vacuum...seriously. I recommend this to any and everyone. It's super easy and has 3 different suction options (stealth, normal, beast). I have health issues so I was no longer able to keep my floors spotless especially having kids and pets until Rogue. Being sick in bed all I need to clean my floors is my cellphone. I've been a faithful Dyson owner for 13yrs and when I went behind the Rogue there was nothing extra to vacuum up. So with that being said, I have barely used my Dyson since purchasing the Rogue. I have nothing negative to say whatsoever. Rogue even goes under the beds and if it does get hung up somewhere it'll notify you on the app. It's like having your very own floor fairy. Lol

It vacuums great, but the app won’t allow my device to connect to the unit. When you call Hoover, they tell you they are still working on getting it right.. the product clearly isnt ready for the consumer if it’s not right. Shame on Hoover.

I was a little nervous about this purchase but in reading the reviews it seamed like most of the problems people are having is getting it connected to the app. I've had experience with other devices and apps that connect this way. (produce their own wifi signal to set up). I can say my Rogue is working 100% and I am very impressed. This is how I set it up. First off it will never connect if the battery is less than 50% so be patient and let it charge at least two hours before even attempting then... Start with Rogue powered off and logged out of app. (make an account then log out). Open the Hoover Home app and log in. Click on add and follow the instructions exactly. It took a few minutes for the setup to finish but I also had a firmware update. Worked on my first attempt after charging. After my Rogue was named (I just named it Rogue) and added I went to the map section. It takes maybe 30 full seconds to load but then told me there was no map and had an option to send it on a Recon mission which I did and it started up pulled back and started mapping my house. Coming from a older Robot I was impressed by the way it makes its way around and can actually see things instead of bumping into it to realize its there. Ever when it was done I was cool to watch it go home and make turns around things on its way back to the base. I opened the app again and again takes 30 seconds-ish to connect but it did and showed the Rogue was still charged fully but I let it charge more before sending out for the first time. BTW it doesn't vacuum when doing recon but in either mode this thing is quiet! I opened my Google Home app and went to Explore. In explore you actually search for Hoover Robot and enter your Hoover Home login info. It linked on the first attempt. The battery light on top of the Rogue wasn't flashing so I just told Google "Tell Hoover Robot to start cleaning". The light on the Rogue came on in maybe 10 seconds and Rogue pulled back and started vacuuming in maybe 25 seconds. It did an excellent job vacuuming even though my hard floors had just been swept. Made it over my thin and thick rugs fine and didn't get stuck once. Took probably a little over an hour to vacuum my house then returned to the base. I checked the app and only used about half of the battery. The dust bin had lots to empty and I like that the bin is on top. I looked in the app at the map section and it now has a floorplan of my house saved. I was able to add and edit virtual walls to block off sections I didn't really need it to go. A tip would be to zoom out before clicking the Create virtual wall button so you can see the red bordered box that is created and can be moved around. If you are zoomed into your map you can't see it and looks like the button doesnt work. I also set a schedule which was very easy to do. I have only had this a short time but so far so good. Tips for setting up would be Start with the Rogue powered off then open the app. Turn off your 5ghz wifi signal if you have it. (I did this because of a tip from someone else so I can't say it wouldn't have worked if I didn't but the app even tells you that the Rogue cant connect to 5ghz like most other of these kind of setups). Be patient with the app. Yes it is slow to connect and react and definitely needs improving but works fine for me and with the schedule and Google I won't be using the app much anyway. I have also tried the app from work and takes longer to connect but eventually does. Also tried starting using Google from work and then sending it back home which both worked fine. I have a Pixel 2 so setup might be different with a different phone but I'd say if it doesn't work with your try a different device just to set up. Time will tell if it continues to work this good for me but I'm very glad I took the chance on this so far amazing vacuum. I will be getting one for my mother's house also based on this experience.Read full review

I love waking up and the carpets have fresh clean vacuumed lines. I set mine up on a schedule so it automatically cleans and I just try to remember to dump the container in between. We don’t have WiFi so it can be a pain trying to connect something to a hotspot and wait on service but that’s not on the vacuum itself. I will say we had to hit the pause button since it couldn’t figure its way out from under something and it restarted the entire process. I hope this vacuum lasts me a long time 🙂

This is the cleaning robot my wife has ben waiting for ever since she saw The Jetsons on tv. It's a little bit of a bugger to get set up and mapped but then it does a great job. I would definately recommend it for general use.

I love everything about it. After a few weeks, the only thing that I do not like how the app takes forever to sync with the phone. It seems to buffer for 15 seconds or so - sometimes not syncing, and you have to try again. Other than that, the system starts on the schedule and returns as desired. LOVE it. Thinking about buying another for the upstairs; however, I believe that the kid's rooms would have stuff in there to make it break (i could always quarantine their rooms though :D )

I had lots of issues getting the Hoover App to pair with the Rogue. After uninstalling and reinstalling several times, it finally connected. The rogue is awesome, easy to set up and run. Love it!

This is my first vacuum robot. The vacuum works marvellously, the only issue is the app. The app does prove difficult once you try to connect the vacuum to WiFi. Other than that, the vacuum itself is phenomenal on carpet, wood or even tiles.

Product arrived on time and works as advertised.

This thing sucked on release because it requires an app to work and the app was completely broken and unusable. The new redesigned app is fantastic and this machine cleans by mapping out your floors without any trouble! Much better than the vacs that just bump around... Great Machine!
