    Buy this tool

    I bought one of the cheap silver tools first and all it did was skip. Just used this tool on my rav 4. I used a 1/2 drive ratchet with 27mm socket. It took quite a bit of force but the filter housing came loose. I would say you definitely want a quality tool like this if you plan on DIY oil changes on your toyota

    great tool for daily use as a lube tech, but only problem is the material is easy to smash but really great fits snug and gets the job done every day! just don’t keep banging it with another metal you will see a lot of marks and the 3/8 socket will wore down from time to time

    The perfect tool for oil filter changes.

    This Motivx filter cup wrench was a perfect fit for a 2009 RAV4 4-cylinder. I would not recommend trying to remove the filter housing without this wrench as damaging the filter housing is easy to do. It took seconds to remove the housing after using this Motivx wrench. It seems to be constructed well out of aluminum and should last for a long time if taken care of. The walls are thick and it doesn’t feel flimsy. The fit is snug with very little play. Oil filter changes are so easy now with this wrench. It’s a must have.

    Only Tool That Works

    I used this to remove an oil filter on a 2017 4Runner Limited after bending a cheap model from a local auto parts store. The key is that you need the deeper depth and the slots on the Motiv tool to be able to loosen this type of filter cap. The package details/specifications for compatibility haven’t been updated for newer models of Toyotas but this one was the same. The quality on this tool is great. I twisted a ratchet extension without damaging the tool and was still able to remove the stubborn filter cap with a large adjustable wrench. I’ll purchase the exact size socket to fit over the nut on the Motiv and use a breakers bar next time. Well worth the money.

    Very well built top quality tool that's MADE IN THE USA

    Perfect fit. Maybe too perfect because it takes some effort to separate the tool from the used filter. However, I'd rather have that than having the tool slip off the filter while damaging itself beyond being used again like many of those cheap plastic ones do. Good knowing that this is the very last filter remover I'll ever have to buy for the size filter it's designed for. So far I've got two different sizes and have no hesitation about buying more should I find the need to.
