    After beating around in my conestoga wagon (1983 F-250) for years after a 4 wheel drive conversion, I had about had it with the rough leaf spring ride. I ordered some F-350 spring mounts, and a set of 12" Bilstein 5100 (5125s). These made a huge difference in ride quality, and the truck is firm and level going around corners. The 255/70 valving seems pretty well suited for a heavier 3/4 or 1 ton truck after a few days seat time. This truck serves as a daily driver and a weekend wheeler, and judging from how it handles the bumps I've taken it over I fully expect the offroad experience to be much better too.
