This swing arm edge guide is one of the best ways to attach an edge guide to a type 111 walking foot machine, or any machine with a 7 inch deep body. I've used this type of edge guide since 2010. When you need to use it you swing it inline with the feed, then set the distance from the needle. When you're done just swing it out of the way. It has a low profile so most material will just flow over the guide and its arms.
