    Great for all ages. - Simple to learn.

    We purchased this for a family member that enjoys playing it so much at our house. We purchased this game several years back after playing at a friend's house. My grandkids love it and so do adults. It's simple to learn. We use the racks that holds alphabet tiles from our Upwords game which makes it nicer to hold the blocks from this game. Not necessary, but makes it nice. We purchased additional racks off of Ebay. This game comes with a nice canvas bag that holds all the blocks. Can't go wrong. Kudos to whoever came up with the game.

    Confusing concept is a poor execution of a knock off Dominos.

    The instructions are 'vague' at some points and you have to assume certain things by the pictures as they are not spelled out. The slippery tiles do not stay in place or have spacers so they constantly shift and can easily be knocked around at any careless bump. They may have sold 2 million, but the novelty is worth way more than the actual product itself as it is a logistical mess of a game. Not recommended, so please play dominos instead because THIS is the lightweight fluffy version of that and dominos is thoroughly explainable without the lackluster instructions and featherweight pieces.

    Good game

    Good for all ages, although purchased this for 91 year old mother who likes to work on jigsaw puzzles, play dominos and chinese checkers. I wanted something different that we could adapt to her needs. Like new, with all the pieces, which are large, colorful and easy to handle. Worked out great.

    Great Game

    Qwirkle is a fun game that is easy to learn and play. You can match color or shape, but all the colors or shapes in that run must be different. It is easy to play, but offers lots of challenging strategy to work out. "A minute to learn, a lifetime to master" was originally written about Mastermind, and it applies to Qwirkle as well. The tiles are painted lightweight wood and very easy to handle (about 30mm square and 10mm thick.) The colors and shapes are tons easier to see than normal playing cards.

    Qwirkle is quirky, engaging and fun!

    This game is all strategy! I've played it several times with my grand kids, and my granddaughter always wins. Well, Nana bought her own game to practice with friends and family. And we are all enjoying it! The tiles are well constructed of wood, smoothly painted with glossy black paint so the different shapes and colors show up easily. Scoring takes a little getting used to, but the premise to win is simple!
