    Stable hard drive and very affordable.

    I use this Samsung hard drive as a back up of my current, yet older windows XP, and Ubuntu Linux OS'es. It been running great. The performance seems just a little bit faster than my older IDE hard drive. I haven't had any issue with this SATA hard drive. I gave it a 4/5 star, since I haven't thoroughly tested all angles of this hard drive yet. If you need minimal extra storage capacity with little cost, I recommend this hard drive.

    A very enjoyable experience with a good product.

    I use my hard drive every day it has been performing flawlessly, love it. I have been working with computers for a number of years, and this was the best value for a hard drive that I have ever experienced. It was very easy to install and started working right away. It was a pleasure to have the operating system already installed with the installation disk if needed, it wasn't needed but was an added assurance to know it was there if needed.

    good product, I needed a replacement for a bad one.

    I like the speed of the hard drive. I also like that it's SATA.The drive is easy to install and it came in a secure professional manor. I like Samsung products for thier dependability ! Everything about this drive says : Quality" !

    Good product for the money.

    Drive performs just fine for it's small capacity. Good for an older computer that does not recognize a larger drive. Good pricing and good quality.

    New to serial ATA.

    This drive is just what I needed to build a up to date server. The serial interface was the reason for the purchase of this drive along with the 80GB size. A large primary volume runs the risk of huge data loss so this drive was perfect for the application. Thanks JBG.
