      High EMI Noise - On/Off needs to be pressed each time

      This 12v socket generates a lot of background noise when used to supply audio devices. Almost unusable. Also, the on/off button needs to be pressed every time the power is reset. I found a much better unit without these issues for the same price.

      Where is that smoke coming from?

      So at first i was stoked for this kit to add to my toolbox. But when the fuse I put in was oriented vertically in my van the cheap incorrect plastic these junk fuses are made from heated up and the fuse blade dropped from gravity to the lower blade. Could have been a disaster but i saw a wire smoking and pulled the fuse. I dont usually leave a review butI would not recommend these.

      This is a great product. I love the fact that you can actually see that you alternator is charging by the lights on it. I just wish it would turn on automatically but thats my only gripe about it.
