    Great item for a good price

    Purchased this item for my wife who has movement issues...seems very sturdy & well made, and is easy to maneuver around. This unit is heavier than the type purchased at drug stores/pharmacies, so keep that in mind if you plan on lifting into vehicles. Does double as a wheelchair which comes in handy, but be aware of bumps/cracks in the pavement...don't go at them straight-on...your passenger can fall forward out of the chair if not careful. Have them lean back & approach the bump with one front wheel at a time. Overall, we are very satisfied with this scooter/chair. Would definitely purchase again. Fast shipment, unit arrived in excellent condition, and is relatively easy to assemble. All parts fit well, and it is an attractive device for those with limited mobility!

    I can only recommend this if the primary use is as a walker. As a chair to be pushed with the passenger's back to the assistant, it is not effective.

    When reversed as a "chair", the passenger's weight is turned toward the weakest part of the vehicle...the 2 wheels which turn and are set closer to the body of the chair. If the person pushing the chair approaches a bump such as carpet edging or other uneven surface, the 2 wheels which turn will immediately flip sideways and the whole chair falls forward throwing the passenger from the chair onto the floor. Also, the break controls which are in the long handles will not lock without somebody physically squeezing the breaks. This makes it difficult for the passenger to be as self sufficient as possible because if they need to turn around and sit for a break, the walker will simply not stay in place, and will roll away or spin around making it not very safe.     This one is a keeper. Only wish it had a foot block when need to pass over door jams.

    Only limitations I have found is the ability to lift over door jams with someone setting. I am thinking of a way to add one bar to use for foot hold to use as leverage to lift front wheels from the back position to clear door jams.

    works ok for his needs but they need to improve the wheels, hard to get over the smallest of bumps or cracks in sidewalk

    If I use it as transport chair he has to get out of it for me to get it over small bumps or it will stop hard & almost dump him out so Its still easier to use his wheel chair in most cases even though it gives me bruises on my ribs getting that thing in & out of trunk, but for shopping inside of store he can use this walker & feels safer knowing he has somewhere to sit when legs give out which only takes about 20 steps right now hoping this will help him be able to walk further each time,

    Versatile

    This rollator is very versatile, but it is also a little heavy and bulky for travel. However, it does what I needed it to do without being as heavy and bulky as a regular wheelchair. When going over door thresholds or rugs, it is much better to pull the person seated backwards. If you want to go forward, go at an angle and gently push the back leg of the side going over so the chair doesn't tip.
