  • Great Porro Prism Binoculars

The 8x30 Nikons are exactly what I wanted. They are a classic small porro prism binocular, solidly built and classic in looks. The field of view is extraordinary and the clarity/ sharpness of the lenses are what you expect from Nikon. The size and ergonomics of the binoculars are amazing... they fit so easily in my medium sized hands. As far as I’m concerned, there’s nothing negative to relate about this product. It’s a total winner. Thanks eBay.

  • Nikon EII better than you think.

Excellent immersive bright binoculars. Very nice build quality. Optically equal to or better than much more expensive roof binos. Pleasantly surprised. CA very well controlled almost none in center. Color more neutral than I expected from everything I’ve heard , at least to my eyes. One could say these binos lack the benefits of a modern high quality roof prism design when it comes to form factors, wether proofing and ergonomics. But on the flip side one could say the roof design lack (some) the buttery smooth focus mechanism and the uniqueness of the porro design. Some could say form is overrated but then why does one person pick a Zeiss roof over a Swarovski or Leica? There all great optics so it sometimes comes down to what feels good to the user. The EII is a well made precision ...

  • Great binoculars

I owned a pair of these a number of years ago. I saw on Ebay and bought them again. Optical quality, very wide field-of-view, and light weight all make these really special binoculars.
