Contacted seller who provided a cure which restored this remote and worked perfectly with our TV. -Removed new batteries and exercised all keypad buttons. -I also twisted the remote slightly with 2 hands (very gently !) to ensure proper seating of remote keypad and internal PCB. -Installed batteries once again and tested. -Remote works like new !!! A+++
