All good!
I had some reservations after reading some of the negative reviews of this product but decided to take a gamble. I have had no issues with durability or performance of this product! The rubber is super tacky and leaves a black residue on your rim but really does the job. These pads may not have the the longevity of some expensive pads but the five pairs for the price one make up for it!

Don’t throw your old pads away
I purchased this item Aug 13. The pads looked very good. I replaced the 4 pads on my bike. My original pads weren’t worn much but this gave me a chance to replace with new and adjust the cables. When I tried the bike, the screech from the front set was unacceptable. I felt each pad while the screech was happening. Seem to be the right side pad. I removed the pad and it was quite worn for only about 2 miles of use with some rubber erasure like bits on that side of the rim? I was going to install an original old pad on this one location. The original pads seem harder than the new pad I removed. So using a thumbnail I picked another new pad that seemed harder than the one that was squealing, wiped off the rim and installed another new pad. The squealing was gone but returned, only not as ... Probably my imagination. I am 77 years old and ride my bicycle very conservatively. If you are young or ride your bike hard, these won’t last you very long. Don’t throw your old pads away!

Don't buy these, total crap
I bought 2 sets of these at different times, but would not recommend them at all. On most of them the mounting stud came loose from the pad and that allow the pads to rotate about 15 degrees after mounting and tightening. The stud doesn't pull out, but it seems to not be securely bonded to the pad which means the pad may rotate and contact the tire and given enough time wear a hole in tire which means the rider is stranded and will need a new tube and tire. The pads were not overtightened when installed, and the failure mode was clear as they can be rotated after installation and pretty easily after removal. I'll have to go back and replace any already installed with higher quality pads. Cheap which is nice, but if they cause damage or injury then not worth using.I bought 2 sets of these at different times, but would not recommend them at all. the threaded rod on these pads are of very soft and low quality metal. The threads stripped out on every one I tried before securing. Total junk! YOU WILL BE SORRY IF YOU BUY THESE.
