G7 1080p 120hz replacement
Well, I'll start off by saying, this screen is absolutely night and day compared to the stock Dell G7 1080 60hz panel. The brightness is the first thing I noticed. It's much brighter. The colors are much better too. And, going from 60hz to 120hz, has made gaming on this laptop even more enjoyable. TN vs IPS?
It's bright yes, 120Hz, and installation is pretty easy. The colors are kinda washed out though, compared to my Benq and Lenovo desktop monitors. Also, I haven't seen viewing angles this bad since like 2008. Must do upgrade in 2018 dell G7
Definitely improves the visual quality, colors look more bright, as well as the overall brightness of the screen. I can now play some games above the 60FPS mark, I have seen 120fps in some tittles and no chopping. My screen had some stuck pixels but after pressing gently on the area they got unstuck. Dell Inspiron 7577 screen upgrade
This panel is a massive step up to the default panel on the Dell Inspiron 7577. If you're gaming on the 7577, this screen will give you MUCH better response times. It also has better colors, better contrast, better black levels, and is much brighter than the original. It's a drop-in upgrade with the 30-pin model, meaning you only have to install the screen. Upgrade is definitely worth the cost of entry,
I purchased a Dell G7 and was impressed with the laptop but underwhelmed by the screen. This display more than corrects my concern, it enhances my overall laptop experience. I am a gamer and appreciate the visuals this display provides and the increased HZ that changes how games look/function. I have literally been going through my video game library and marveling at the differences in every game. I am amazed at the sheer performance improvement just after installing this screen. Everything seems so smoother suddenly, and the color accuracy is finally right. The lower response time makes the biggest distinction between the crappy default screen and this one. Pretty easy to install and fixed the weakness of my laptop.
I bought this for my dell g7 and it works great. A high refresh rate is the dell g7s weakness and this solved that. Im very happy with it although is came with one of the screw hole thing bent, which wasnt much of a problem cause i just bent it back and then i could screw it in.
