It looks like it will work fine but a bit chinsey as there are no metal dowels in the screw holes and the plastic seems a bit thinner than I thought. I would recommend a more expensive unit if using it for a truck and possibly being in bumpy roads or chances you might hit a tree with your antenna. My original CB antenna mount was very thick plastic(bought in the 80's), reinforced with metal inserts in the screw holes and is cracked but is still staying together. For the price its a decent kit.

Buy stainless steel hardware on your own. The hardware that comes with it is not. The heads on the screws will rust right from day one. Other wise it is a great deal.
