I was able to clean them with vinegar and QD Contact Cleaner. The batteries came nearly fully charged; cranking current and internal resistance tests met manufacturer specifications. Time will tell how long the batteries will last.

Item is an SLA battery and not an AGM (Absorbent Glass Matt) as pictured or described. I would have preferred the AGM since it will last longer in my UPS. The SLA version will work fine, just that it is not as rugged as the AGM version. In my experience, SLA batteries will last about 3-4 years max, the AGM generally 4-5 years at best.
