I love my coffee!!
This a very simple, easy to use machine. Once you 'dial' in the settings best suited to your taste and your coffee beans, your ready to go. I would say to anyone take the time to set up the machine when you first get it, you will dump a few cups in the process, but you will be rewarded with a great, smooth, creamy espresso rather than just an 'ok' cup. My only dislike onthe machine is that the grind dump box has to be emptied after about 5 cups so if you have a dinner party, you will notice this fact. But the smallish dump box has to do with the very compact footprint of this machine so it offsets the dislike a bit.This a very simple, easy to use machine. Easy, Fabulous Espresso
Our Saeco Caffe Charisma is the work horse of our house. It consistently turns out cup after cup of perfectly balanced esspresso with a fine head of crema, steams without down time and also makes terrifc coffee. It's easy to clean and has a simple display that lets you know when you need to add more bean or water, clean it, etc. It may not be overly chic and it is a little noisy, but for day after day heavy use without fuss or effort, and for the price, it can't be bested. could be better
Firstly it arrived broken which is never a good omen. It is a very compact machine, has a double boiler so you can steam milk as you're brewing the espresso. It has a somewhat cheap feel to it, being mostly plastic on the outside instead of the more expensive series which are made of metal. As for the product it makes, I haven't found that out yet with it still being in the repair shop. Apparently it is the same machine as the Gaggia Compact, with some small differences in button placement. As a second machine it probably won't be bad, but wouldn't count on it for heavy use.Firstly it arrived broken which is never a good omen.
