Best driveway alarm of 4 brands I purchased this year One had no range, one had no sound I could hear, two of another brand quit working after a hard rain and one of them the rechargeable battery only lasted two weeks, but the Guardline words great, different tones where the people are entering and where they are going, I just purchased another Guardline with two more sensors and with 16 sound tones, I can track people over the 40 acres. May get one more for another area.

I've tried other driveway alarm systems which just didn't work. For the money the Guardline is the best bar none. I recommend to put the sensor up approx 4-5 feet to eliminate phantom alerts. The only downfall I have is the multi sounds needs to be more realistic (lots of tunes I would want to hear, need more to choose from). I have two sensors and probably will be purchasing at least one more. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.

This product is great. I have tried and returned all others. The distance 1/4 mile + a all metal siding mobile home is where it is operating with no line of sight signal and thru dense trees. Being hard of hearing I could not hear other brands when the alarm was triggered. Lots of different tunes and the volume control can knock your socks off. Easy set up and very few false alarms. easy to identify different zones. I have 2 sensors on the same road. Each sensor has a different tune. If zone 1 is triggered I should hear the 2nd zone trigger in about a minute. If it doesn't trigger I can figure it was a deer or other animals. I live in the sticks. Same for the 2nd sensor in reverse. If it goes off without the first sensor going off I know its not a vehicle. I never changed any of the factory settings. Super easy instructions and install. The 1/4 mile range is a little more expensive than the non 1/4 mile but it's worth it.Read full review

I just set it up and put new batteries in both units. After just two days the base unit had dead batteries which i feel is odd considering that it only had motion alerts five time in that short time frame. I now have it plugged in now but I will try with different batteries.

You may have to clear all zones before pairing sensors, even on factory new right-out-of-the-box. Had trouble with multiple sensors (different zones). Clearing all zones fixed it. Sensors are working (tripping) at much further distances that advertised, which is fine, but be aware so place and aim them with this in mind. Mine is working at 500 ft through significant concrete and steel I beams in a lower floor that is below ground level. Very impressive.
