The shroud cover plate the main part of the kit is stainless metal. There are edges which can cut the installer. The edging is a plastic like material to be placed around the plate is difficult to install .It is shipped formed in a coil witch must be made straight, Next it must be shaped to follow around the sides and curved corners oft he plate while lying flat. This peace is moderately difficult to install. The six strips must be straightened and cut to length during the install. looks Good!
