The ID is in fact a little larger than factory, but the OD is correct keeping the washers centered inside the spool which is all that matters, that way washers are not moving all over the place. Reel manufacturer doesn't even sell replacements and these washers are the closest match available in the aftermarket world. Reason why more than 100 other customers have successfully and happily been able to used them. Not to mention, smaller ID or not, they will outperform the factory washers any day.
