    Hanger 9 tachometer is a good tool to have in your flight box!

    I purchased the Hanger 9 Tachometer since I fly helicopters and fixed wing aircraft. I used it the very first weekend to tach my helicopter and a friends helicopter. We found his head speed was high and were able to make adjustments. Its easy to use and stays on long enough to be used remotely. Also displays the highest RPM reached. But it does have auto shut off you don't run down the battery. Can't wait to use it on my planes to see what prop combo works best. Great product.

    Handy Tool

    I like this tachometer a lot. It is light and small, and can cope with a number of propeller configurations. I t is accurate and easy to use, and when you're done it just put it back in your pocket and it turn off automatically. Sometimes, meausuring from behind the prop, it is not easy to grab and tends to slip away a little...
