    Great heater , but you need to understand how vornado heaters work

    Vornado heaters are the best that are made everyone who gives a bad review does not understand how these heaters work correctly. when the fan is blowing at very low speed and you feel no heat that means the heaters working look at your thermostat that's what this heater does when set temperature is reached fan speed and heat output lowers or increases as needed so many people put the bad review in not understanding how these heaters work everyone thinks it should be blasting hot air out constantly that's not how these heaters are designed and function it makes a Vortex circulating the warm air throughout the house evenly not shutting off letting the hot air rise to the ceiling and where you sit is cold, when on auto the fan speed and heat output will increase or decrese as needed, so when ...

    Great unit for the basement

    My son prefers to make a large basement room his bedroom. We live in Wisconsin and all winter he has yet to turn it on high. He leaves it on low and his room stays comfortably warm. His room size is 14 feet by 18 feet and I do not notice any increase in electrical use on my bill. I am actually amazed at how well it works in his room with heat evenly displaced throughout.

    Keeps the home office nice and toasty. Like the fact that we can keep thermostat down for the rest of the house. Still have my 1st Vornado but after 5 years of service seems to produce a little less than adequate heat. The new one.....set it and forget it with auto temp.

    Annoying clicking sound

    Fan makes a clicking sound that’s almost unbearable to listen to. We have another one like it that we bought new and it doesn’t make that sound. I wouldn’t say this used unit was in EUC... very disappointing.
