Very good product at a great price I make LED creations and some of the larger LED assemblies my 500 W LED with A large aluminum heatsink The LEDs kept burning up as I could not transfer the heat properly until I ran across this amazing product with my heat gun it was running at about 522°F without my exhaust fan or cooling fan I should say brought it down to 250°F. Held together well did not separate at all transferred he 100% OK 99% I have now made a monster 500 W single LED Cree style LED as I had a customer with a very large aquarium did not want to spend approximately $14,000 and lights I was able to create this monster from under $1000 for his lighting system there dimmable programmable and since I have received this material I am using the ID has been on at 105% of its capacity as it still not filled yet I have another 300 hours to go to certify it that I will hold I'm not worried about the product I purchased I am worried about not enough heat dissipation without having to add some kind of liquid contained cooling system The LED is rated at 247°F for long periods of time I am right I get that above that and are still holding but I am word for how long. But I finally found a thermal compound that can handle the extreme heat that I needed to thank you very muchRead full review

eBay asked if the thermal paste was quiet. Lol. I said no. Seriously though. I use this stuff on all my builds. Gaming computers, servers, fixing laptop heat issues. It definitely works. If you’ve got a 7+ year old laptop and it seems to slow down or get much hotter than usual, taking the heat sink off, blowing out the gunk, cleaning off the heat blocks and reapplying thermal paste to the cpu and gpu will usually help. Fan replacement is sometimes necessary as well.

I have used different types of thermal paste and arctic silver is by far the best. Easy tp apply, heat is transferred as well as oem paste on a mac. Worth the price difference, it lasts.

I always used AS5 in my more high end machines. Even before curing, it surpass all expectations. After curing, at the final form of the compound, you really see a difference. It's not the easiest to apply though, i always recommend spreading it evenly on the processor, put a little bit more in the center and put on the heatsink/cold plate.

I used it on both video Nvidia card and on my new i7 and my Alienware doesn't go over 61 Celsius.... It runs cooler, it makes a difference using a good quality paste.
