It is a Makita battery. Seller was very accommodating and offered to give a full refund and provide a free shipping label. Hopefully listing is now corrected. I understand that things happen and do appreciate the way they wanted to make it right. We decided to keep the sprayer anyway, and it has worked great, Hubs just wanted one compatible bc he has extra DeWalt batteries
