      It's way better than the CD boomboxes & downloading songs in my opinion. I'd rather collect CDs and play them without hassle. Clear sound and built to last. I'm so glad I bought this. Thank you!

      Dump the speakers, but keep the compact CD recever.

      The speakers that came with this are trash. Sony should be ashamed. I replaced them with a couple of mini Paradigms and the sound is excellent.
