Seems like a good radar detector.
It does't have anywhere near the same number of false positive alerts, even in the same locations as my old one, and it was a pretty good one (a BEL). A little difficult to set up and I'm concerned about the inexplicable use of a low-tech off / on switch on an otherwise high-tech device, which may be more prone to wearing-out or failing than a higher tech version. Good radar detector but the android app needs a lot of work.
Most people will get this upgraded version for the better range and the Carplay or Android Auto integration. A few things about the android app, for some reason, I had to go into developer mode on my Samsung and change the Windows animation scale, transition animation scale and animator duration scales before the app would search for the Cobra with Bluetooth. I guess this is a known issue, but the developers haven't fixed the app. That makes me wonder how good the support will be for any other issues that come up. Another thing, you have to get out your phone and launch the app every time you drive otherwise you'll see an error on your car's screen.
