It's great, just like the reviews said.

I like to make whole grain waffles ahead and then freeze them for a healthy breakfast or snacking. Believe it or not, I got a Belgian waffle maker 30 years ago for a wedding present and recently knocked it off the counter cracking the case. I searched for another one using the internet now. This one had the best reviews so I went for it. So far I have been delighted with it in all ways. It is a great little machine much smaller than my other one, but makes the same sized waffles. The secret to making a waffle maker last so long is to spray a little nonstick oil on the plates before you pour in your waffle mixture. You can trust the lights to advise you when they're ready. It's perfect for me. I used it recently to make 60 back-to-back waffles for freezing with out a hitch. And there is no clean up if you use cooking spray. This machine will undoubtedly outlive me if it is as durable as the last one. If you do decide to go for it, I'm confident you will be like me and have no regrets. It's an excellent way to customize a healthy diet for your self and your family.

    Not A Good Waffle Maker!

When closed, the 'top' lid of this waffle maker does not heat up sufficiently to bake the waffle, so the bottom cooks and when the light says done the top is not! I think the single contact point for the heating element must not be making good contact when it's closed. Also, I had to spray both plates with PAM EVERYTIME I poured some batter, or the waffles would stick! What a pain! The included utensil to remove the waffle is useless! I'm planning on returning this waffle maker if it is not to much hassle. Too bad because it's a perfect size and I like square waffles. It is not compact. I'd consider it a mid-sized waffle maker.

Haven’t used it with batter yet but fired it up and it heats up. It is in immaculate shape you would think it was new and not refurbished

  • Waffle iron made right

This is the type waffle iron my husband wanted, not the Belgium type. It was a little bit hard to find this at the reasonable price. We like to make waffles in this handy appliance often! I highly recommend it.

  • Product defect

There is a springlike heating element providing heat - much like a lightbulb filament. That will burn out. The plates which cook the food slides in and remains loose. The tab which hold the plates was defective on the waffle griddle, so I swapped it with another plate- making that one useless. Some issues with this refurbished model.

  • Cuisinart WAF300

This is very easy to use. Even though it is non stick you still want to spray a little of non stick to insure waffle/pancakes come off ok. Very easy to switch between the waffle metal plates or the pancake metal plates. It has a chime that dings when it is hot enough to use and a chime that dings when the waffle/pancake are ready. Don't get much easier than this. 5 STARS

  • Great Waffle maker

Great Product, A little tedious to change the griddle panels. Other than that it is a great unit. I would recommend it others.

  • Best Bang for the BUCK!

Just got it a week ago and the waffles were perfect and I am in love with its ability to cook eggs and pancakes for my breakfast. Just remember to use oil or butter for the bottom pan when making the eggs. Super ease to clean and store.
