    Boiler Repair!

    I just got back from vacation and what do you know, the house boiler waited on me to get back and take care of it. Thank GOD I keep spares for everything, and I even had a spare igniter, yea it save my week-end. This igniter now takes the place of my spare even if it takes 10 years to replace like this last one!!

    I purchased the igniter kit to have one on hand in case the present one in my heater fails, which does happen without warning. I won't know how good the new one is until I need to install it. That could be in a few years, however.

    Boiler fixed

    Same igniter as original, new fasteners with igniter. 1/4” universal joint helped on the lower fastener. The old one was brittle so handle new one carefully.
