This red dot sight rifle scope has a battery life of 600 hours at a nominal setting of 12. The EOTech 65 MOA circle has fog proof internal optics.     Great Sight for FAST target acquisition. Rings are grainy. Priced too high for most folks !!

    The EoTech is a great dependable sight and you can acquire your target very fast, even with both eyes open. The outer ring is fairly grainy looking, but EoTech say's it's supposed to look that way, and to concentrate your focus on your target. I like the long battery life and prefer the auto shut-off that's selectable in either 4 or 8 hour. My only negative remark is why they have to be so expensive. There are loads of comparable sights out there that have great optics and reticles, most of them just don't have the long battery life. The old saying will always be true: "I'd rather have great sight and not so great rifle rather that a expensive rifle and a cheap sight". REMEMBER: Gun safety first !!

    Simply the best bang for the buck.

    Great sight. Put the target in the ring for quick targeting, use the 1 moa dot for more precise control. Rugged and solid. Yes, you have to turn it on to use it, but that isn't a problem for me.

    Great EOTech holographic sight technology in a compact package!

    I have had EOTech sights before (512) and this one is every bit as clear and accurate but in a more compact package. I like the transverse mounted battery compartment and the fact that it only takes one battery (123) which is readily available. Highly recommended...
