    As described, shipping was iffy. I had ordered 15 items and received 4 separate packages, despite only 2 tracking numbers were provided. One package was misrouted multiple times by USPS and arrived 5 days AFTER the listing showed the item was delivered. This was due to items being in a box with a completely different tracking number not provided by seller. Sent multiple messages about the missing items and got nothing but crickets. Seller needs to provide ALL tracking numbers if order is split

    Item arrived in perfect condition, brand new as described. Shipping time was rather long... UPS apparently lost the package but luckily found it a week later. It's not fair to blame the seller for that, but nevertheless it took way longer than the estimate. I did reach out, but the seller was unable to provide a meaningful update. Again, having dealt with UPS myself, I can't exactly blame them. I guess what I'd recommend is, please don't ship via UPS anymore. UPS customer service is horrible.

    Add New Life to Your Athearn Dummy Locomotives with these Wheel Assemblies

    Take your old blue box Athearn dummy locomotives and give them new life with these new locomotive wheel assemblies. The metal wheels roll much better than the original plastic wheels. They may also open other interesting possibilities. I found I can add a resistor to the truck assembly and the locomotive is now detectable on my club's layout. I am going to explore the possibility of adding sound using the wheel assemblies as pick-ups for the power and processing signal a decoder will need. These wheel assemblies are great and I would highly recommend them.

    Suited my needs!

    There are actually two sizes of these and the older Blue Box units take the other size, but will accept these. I ordered the wrong size on accident but kept these and have no problems! Much better than the old iron wheels.
