    In order to save $ & not knowing if it would "fix" my printer troubles--I did order this new but expired cartridge. It has worked out beautifully. So far, I have gotten color accents along with black print where applicable. I was very pleased with the price & service. Would certainly shop again.

    The ink was outdated and dry but I was able to have it brought back to life. Not the best print quality but okay for the price.

    Out Of Date Cartridge

    I've found that HP ink cartridges ( like many food items) are of good quality and functionality way beyond their shelf life dates. Some people actually believe that you should throw away anything that is beyond the date listed on the item. I can only speak for the real HP thing. Have had no experience with "re-inks".

    Don’t let the expiration date scare you

    The printer ink works just fine in spite of its expiration date and is SO much less expensive than purchasing new. I am quite satisfied with it.
