    Awesome Product, Awesome Service!!!

    I have a pair of Jamo speakers and my JVC receiver after 19 years did not have the internal amp enough to power my 4 ohm speakers consistently, so I would get "OVERLOAD" in the display and would never know when the receiver would work or not. Enter my Yamaha receiver from a company that has remained top notch in the industry, has never been sold to another company and continues to produce superior audio products. I am THRILLED with the receiver and all the new and modern features it has (bluetooth, directconnect, pandora, smartphone use, etc.) and I am looking forward to exploring more of its capabilities (MUSICCAST speakers throughout the house)! It is doing Yeoman's duty and so far I ABSOLUTELY LOVE IT!!

    Very good reciever for the money

    Great sound, lots of connections, dual zone, app support, fairly easy setup. Missing a star because of the lack of a firmware upgrade to get some features that the tsr 7850 has.

    Easy to set up, and sounded very good.

    If you are an beginner audiophile, this Yamaha AV receiver will be a good start. Very easy to set up, just follow the instructions. Sound quality is very good, and is reasonable priced in the second hand market.

    Good receiver - set-up is a bit complicated

    I have only implemented the basic functions. The unit relies heavily on having a TV connected to use the set-up menus. As I purchased this for use in a new house that i have not yet moved to, I have only used the basic playback functions. That said, the unit is performing well.
