    Great Bullet Puller

I bought this Bullet Puller along with the .38 and .44 Collets when I started reloading center fire cartridges. Since I am new to reloading, I wanted to be able to undo any mistakes that might happen. I load .357 Magnum, .38 Special, .44 Magnum and .44 Special. While switching between these cartridges I have forgotten to readjust the seating depth on my bullet seating die. After completing a few cartridges, I checked the OAL and found that it was too short. So, I had to pull the bullets and readjust the seating depth. This RCBS Bullet Puller along with the correct Collet worked perfectly. It beats the heck out of one of those "Whak-a-mo" plastic Bullet Pullers.

Will not grip and pull 9mm bullets at all

I bought this bullet puller, plus a .35cal collet to pull 9mm bullets, and it will not pull them at all, no matter how hard I try or how many times I try on the same bullet. It just slide off of the bullet that is still in the case. I did have a few that were barely seated in the case at all, and it pulled them, but none of my fully seated bullets wold pull. I don't like to leave negative reviews, but for potential future buyer's sake, I have to be honest about this one.

  • The correct tool for the job.

Can't go wrong with most RCBS products. This tool does what it was designed to do, pull a bullet from a cartridge without damage. The only other thing needed is the correct sized collet.

  • Great Puller

I needed a bullet puller so i could pull about 60 rounds which had the wrong powder charge. I looked at all of the pullers on the market and chose the RCBS. It seemed to be the most well constructed and easy to use. When I got the puller I was pleased with the construction. I did have a problem pulling my 60 rounds as I had cast bullets (.45acp 230 round nose), these bullets didn't have enough flat surface for the collett (which I purchased separately) to grab. Fortunately I have access to a lathe and I made a custom collett with a internal lip on the bottom and it worked like a charm, I pulled all 60 rounds in just a few minutes. Great puller.

  • Awesome!

This thing is a lifesaver! I had 200 9mm bullets that I had loaded a little too hot and wasn't satisfied with. Have used my kinetic hammer puller before, but dreaded the tedious, messy process that goes with it. Fitted this puller with the 9.3 mm collet and mounted on an extra press. I was amazed and thrilled at the ease of pulling the bullets. Pulled all 200 in less than an hour and recovered the powder. No damage to the bullets (124 grain Speer GDHP). I will be getting collets for some of my other calibers and saying good-bye to the dreaded hammer (kinetic) puller!

  • RCBS makes great products

RCBS has never failed me! This bullet puller works quite well. Although it isn't an absolute. Some bullets will slip. As long as your not pulling the larger bullets you can tighten it up quite a bit. The larger collefs will break due to the steel collet being thinner. Keep that on mind. I broke my fist collet for the .500 S&W pulling 600 grain bullets. The second one I didn't tighten too much and finished the job. I had to pull 60 rounds. All in all its a great tool.

  • RCBS Bullet Puller w/o collet

Absolute necessity for any serious reloader. Trying out several different powder loads and find the one that works? What about the the other bullets loaded with the loads that didn't work? Put the RCBS Bullet Puller to work and save money. There's no way I would recommend not having this item.

  • Exceeded my expectations!!!

WOW!!! Throw away that bullet hammer cause this here is the real deal... Got the puller 9440 and a collet 9430 for 9mm and it took about 5 sec to do my first pull... I can probably do a whole 50 rd box in about 5min and possibly even save the projectile too... Just plain awesome and glad I got it...

  • RELOADING

i HAVE BEEN RELOADING A WHILE NOW AND DO MAKE MISTAKES. BUT TRY TO CONCENTRATE ON POWDER WEIGHTS. I RECENTLY STARTED USING AN ELECTRONIC CHARGE WEIGHING DEVICE AND PUNCHED IN THE WRONG POWDER WEIGHT! AFTER LOADING ABOUT 100 ROUNDS I REALIZED I HAD USED THE WRONG CHARGE SO WITH THE PRICE OF BULLETS I BOUGHT THE BULLET PULLER THAT WORKED EXCELLENT AND SAVED THE COMPONENTS. DOES NOT MAR THE BULLET AT ALL AND REUSED THEM WITH THE CORRECT CHARGE. B B
