    Dewalt DCB118 20V / 60V Max Li-ion Flexvolt Fan Cooled Fast Battery Charger does charge fast. We use 9ah batteries with high energy consumption devices such as blowers. Fast charge does not recharge the first battery before a 2nd battery is empty but by managing the work the effect is being able to work non-stop.

    Excellent Product

    DeWalt is my choice in cordless tools and batteries. Very rarely do I find that I have something defective and in need of service. These fast chargers help to keep the job going without waiting for a long recharge time. Usually, one battery is charging while I'm using the other and is ready by the time the first battery is depleted.

    The DeWalt DCB118 20V Fast Charger

    The DeWalt DCB118 20V Fast Charger worked just great. It charged two 4h batteries and one 9h Flex Volt battery in the time frame of about one hour to 1-1/2 hours each, which is faster than the other chargers I have. The charger itself maintained a much cooler temperature with the internal cooling fan, and automatically stopped charging when batteries were completely full. I definitely recommend this charger specially when charging batteries with 5h or higher amperage. My recommendation with Lithium batteries for a prolonged storage, is to always keep them charged between 50 to 90 percent of capacity to maximize the useful life of the battery.
