    As described, shipping was iffy. I had ordered 15 items and received 4 separate packages, despite only 2 tracking numbers were provided. One package was misrouted multiple times by USPS and arrived 5 days AFTER the listing showed the item was delivered. This was due to items being in a box with a completely different tracking number not provided by seller. Sent multiple messages about the missing items and got nothing but crickets. Seller needs to provide ALL tracking numbers if order is split

    Item arrived in perfect condition, brand new as described. Shipping time was rather long... UPS apparently lost the package but luckily found it a week later. It's not fair to blame the seller for that, but nevertheless it took way longer than the estimate. I did reach out, but the seller was unable to provide a meaningful update. Again, having dealt with UPS myself, I can't exactly blame them. I guess what I'd recommend is, please don't ship via UPS anymore. UPS customer service is horrible.

    Soundtraxx Economi decoder review

    This is an excellent choice of sound decoders if you are interested in buying one. It is simple in design, inexpensive and has very excellent sounds. I like it because it has 5 different prime mover sounds that can be programmed by a simple CV change and a grade crossing signal activated by a function button on your DCC controler. All air horns (or steam whistles) sound so much better than the 1st generation of Tsunami decoders and so do the bells and air compressors. For the price, these are are a great value. I highly recommend this product.

    Not every HO scale Diesel Locomotive should be run with Sound! Keep it simple!

    The Soundtrax 882004 decorder diagram has 4 optional Diesel body side marker lights 1.5voltage contact points to supply power from. As well as the normal front/rear +/- headlight power contact points for 12–14-volt Light Bulbs. Sadly, the additional Marker Lights after careful soldering of each, did not Light Up! The Diesel sound choices worked fine. My ATLAS HO FM H15-44 featured front & rear side marker lights which turn red or green with the change of direction. Please note that this Decoder is specifically for ALCO 244 or EMD 567-710 motive power sounds.

    A high performance sound decoder.

    The Soundtraxx Economi Eco-PNP Diesel decoder is the best sound you can get and at a very reasonable price. When hooked up to a one or two watt baffled speaker, you will be amazed at how much sound it can produce. The motor control is exceptional and programming options are easy to understand and use. Unlike other most other manufacturers, Soundtraxx customer support is easy to find.

    Typical Soundtraxx excellence

    A very good value for converting older Tsunami decoders to the newer generation features and power handling. A few features shy of the top of the line Tsunami 2 but inconsequential for my secondary train consists.

    Great DCC sound decoder

    Used these DCC sound decoders to replace ESU decoders that failed to perform properly and eventually failed. Soundtraxx has ALWAYS performed beautifully and are easy to install and custom program. I absolutely love these decoders and wood recommend them for anyone desiring excellent motor control, great lighting options and SUPERB sound!
