    Lionel "O" Scale Polar Express 6-30218 Train Set

    Even though I am a "G" Scale collector, I have to say that I am very impressed with this "O" scale train set. The packaging is top notch. The weight of the locomotive and detail is impressive. The fastrack system is easy to put together and is very realistic as far as 3 rail goes. The passenger cars are lighted and look great. I love the realistic synchronized chug and steam sounds, puffing smoke, as well as the remote operated bell, whistle and announcements. This is one of my very favorite trains. I will be purchasing more track to expand around the Christmas Tree. Very high quality. I would not recommend this set for small children. Lionel makes a "G" scale battery powered version that is better suited for them. I purchased this new on ebay at a great price....

    This seller was a con artist.

    The train looked o.k. but sadly I didn't test it upon arrival. I saved it until Christmas and was dissatisfied and disappointed that the engine was not running. I took it to an authorized repair shop and the owner said that it was dropped and that it had alot of use and was repaired before. It's going to take alot of fixing but it will be worth it in the long run as it will belong to my 7 year old son. His first Lionel O model train. I love the train but this seller did not mention any problems with it. Very angry at this seller.

    Solid with complete set including figures

    Excellent set. Very good detail, easy to assemble and run. Set included the 4 figures. Everything functions perfectly and the sounds are very realistic. Am thinking of getting a similar set with different cars and engine. The fasttrac system is so muck easier to assemble and more life like then the original track

    The best train I ever had since I was a kid back in the 50's

    I ordered the Polar Express O gauge # 6-30218 on Nov 28 and received it on Nov 30 (3 days). I haven't set it up yet but I will write another review once I run it. It also came very well packed. Well I finally set it up and it runs and sounds GREAT. My 4 year old grandson loves it. I bought 10 more pices of straight fast track. I love being a kid again.
