You're Curtis Craig, a regular guy with a small apartment, steady job and steady girlfriend. You're also Curtis Craig, former nutcase with a history of mental problems. You're in the process of going nuts again -- at least you think you are. After all, who can really tell?<br><br>Phantasmagoria: A Puzzle of Flesh, a full motion video (FMV) adventure game from Sierra, is the second game in the Phantasmagoria line. In it, you take on the role of Curtis as he starts down the slippery slope towards insanity. Your job is to help him figure out why he's going insane and remedy the situation while trying to stay alive through the game.<br><br>The game is played out with photographs of real world locations as backdrops. Human actors portray the characters in the game and speak lines of dialogue during story sequences conveyed through acted FMV. You can interact with Curtis' world by using your mouse cursor to point and click on items in the environment. Depending on what you're pointing at when you click, you might shift your viewpoint, pick up an object, interact with an object or do nothing at all.<br><br>You can store an unlimited amount of items in your inventory for use in solving puzzles in the game. Passage of time within Phantasmagoria: A Puzzle of Flesh is suspended while you complete certain puzzles necessary to advance the storyline, thus eliminating time pressure for puzzle solving.
