      Metal Detecting

      I have not used my Garrett products underwater yet but I heard I should seal the O rings with silicone grease. There is more than enough in this jar to do that, and it was easy to apply a layer to the different parts of the machine that have O rings (headphones, etc). It is a bit runnier than I imagined (the texture is somewhere between hand lotion and petroleum jelly) but that's probably how it is supposed to be, and it works fine for my purposes.

      Hercules Silicone is more of a liquid than a solid grease. When opening be careful it doesn’t drip off the lid. Works fine
