    Beware the cheap imitations!

    Designed and made by Apple so it works and is good quality. Beware of the knockoffs. They sometimes don't have all of the same features of the product they are imitating. But they are made to look exactly the same as Apple's product.

    30-pin to 8-pin adapter

    I have an old iPad (30-pin access) that I use to mirror iPad image on TV using HDMI-30 pin adapter. I wanted to use the same adapter on a newer iPad (lightening access). It did not work. Could not mirror any of the spplicstions. Had to by a new hdmi-lightening adapter.

    Works great

    I think this was designed by Apple for docks where your phone would sit on top of the adapter because it's not connected unless it is firmly up against the body of the phone. This makes sense for stability but means you can't use a case with it. Apple has a different adapter with a short lead that looks like it can be used with a case, you can find it on eBay to
