    75yrs Nice-ish coffee table tome

    Selective overview of Timely/Atlas/Marvel surveys the company's history w plenty of cover scans (though why they couldn't find better quality source images for most is puzzling). Short on original art reproductions (which would have greatly enhanced the "behind the scenes" feeling for readers) and in-depth meaty anecdotes/information. Disappointed it didn't include more detail on the collaborative nature of how many of the characters/concepts came about - but considering the author, not unexpected. All in all, not the incisive history that it could have been but acceptable eye candy.

    Huge book filled with illustrations and information!

    Book arrived in excellent condition, sealed with no defects. If you are a Marvel fan, this is the book for you! It is huge, filled with facts and information about the origins of Marvel and Marvel characters, as well as behind the scenes info about the writers and artists. The book is filled with illustrations and classic covers from the 1930's to 2012. A beautiful but because of its size, a physically challenging book to read. Another great volume by the publisher Tauscher, with Roy Thomas as an expert author.
