    Pleasantly Surprised!!

    Paid musician here doing full band, duo, and solo gigs around the city. I researched several tower PA's and landed on this one as the reviews were excellent and it seemed to be the best bang for my buck. Out of the box, this PA was exactly what I was looking for. Connected to bluetooth in seconds and was loud and clear! Played a solo acoustic/vocals gig and was blown away by how light it is, how easy it is to set up, and how loud and clear it was handling my Taylor acoustic and my vocals. I even brought it in place of our 400lb+ set up (monitors, subs, mains, and all necessary cables) for full band gigs, and my vocals and guitar overpowered the drums and bass, it was perfect for the smaller venue we played.     I own and use three MAUI Systems,... bought a MAUI 11 at the Los Angeles area NAMM show when it was first presented and have used it for hundreds of gigs over hundreds of miles without a problem. ( actually dropped both 11 and 28 on concrete with only scuff marks to show) I am a lounge and wedding singer in the San Diego/ Baja area, using a Tyros 5 to accompany myself. I sing standards with a Neumann condenser mic and need to hear every nuance clearly and still project through a room of fifty and more talking guests. Later, added a MAUI 28 Mix for more power and versatility, outdoor and stage events. Recently I purchased the MAUI 5, a real treat after carrying the other two around.     Awesome Product! Awesome Price!

    This product is almost perfect for the price, size and power of sound! I've recently purchased a very similar product...Fender Audio Expo Portable Powered PA System...terribly weak...and actually one hundred dollars MORE expensive! This one here powers up to fill up a nice small room without distorting the sound etc. It's very light, nice to handle...I only wish it CAME with a bag to carry it. Why not include that? That would easily be a selling point for a musician using it on a consistent basis.
