      ESEE Knives come out with a folder

      I have several ESEE knives and I love them all. They each have a specific purpose and I find them to be tough, functional, well made, and well designed. So when I saw that they had come out with an assisted folder I grabbed it. It's all the things that the fixed blade ESEE's are. It is razor sharp, holds an edge, high carbon, and I bought a black model and they are a gorgeous knife. Reasonably priced for an ESEE, and built to last a long time, this is now my new EDC. For years I have carried a SOG Vulcan, Ontario Rat 1, or one of the new Emerson/Kershaws. These are all excellent, excellent knives. But for a while, I am going to give the Avispa a shot, and so far it is working great. Buy one NOW. You won't regret it.

      Esee Avispa great knife for the money

      Perfect slim size for everyday carry. The frame lock holds well. The blade holds a good edge and takes an edge quickly with the lansky sharpener. I just recently bought a few for buddies. I've had mine for 4 years and use it everyday. Great blade.

      Lightweight Frame Lock with great steel - A step up from the Rat 1!

      I now have this knife in two different styles. I really enjoy the black on black version as the frame lock and clip are also black, and 'disappear' when wearing slacks. It's a very good clip as well leaving the knife out of sight but keeping it secure enough to grab/open/use when needed. Aus-8 steel is great and BRK/Esee have a great collaboration in both this knife and its' younger brother, the Zancudo. The only thing I would tell you is that if you are looking for something stronger than Aus-8, go for these models in D2 steel. I have both and they are awesome!
