    I have not installed it yet. I bought this particular product because it has a strip that sticks to the side of the garage. This makes installation so much easier. It holds itself in place while I screw it in… I’ve tried both kinds, and I will never go back to one without a sticky strip.

    I installed this product and it went on well.I cleaned the surface (white alum)with alcohol first,put the screws in,but now the tape on the back is not holding and I've had to put more screws in.Mfg needs to use a stronger tape.
