    fora degree school for knowledge books

    it used to be that chiltons was the place to go for a home mechanic, but they were taken over by the harvard school of business administration and their manuals now consist of the advice if this happens take it to a professional....although the section in chiltons is helpful padding on how to do body work, it wont get you from point a-b. Haynes on the other hand bases every book on a complete tear down and rebuild of the vehicle portrayed. if you are a do it yourself mechanic either out of choice or necessity, there are no other good short books on how to fix something that has gone wrong than the haynes manual. this one gives you enough information that you can fix simple things that are wrong with the dodge pu but stops short of the encyclopedic knowledge needed to rebuild the injection ...

    The title says it all, you gotta have this if you want to truly understand your rig and be able to work on it. It helped me many times with all kinds of jobs. Excellent manual by Haynes, as usual.

    A must for Ram owners!

    If you have a 2nd generation Ram, you need this manual, especially if you do your own maintenance or repairs. Plus it contains so much information about features of these trucks that you may not have even been aware of!
