Due to the clear plastic, the ink becomes part of the pens color which gives it unique appearance, which can different each time if you change ink color. It writes smoothly. It is an excellent value for the amount. Get a few and use a different color in each. Be sure to rinse nib if using any color but blue first time. Lamy quality tests all pens with blue ink before shipping.

When I reached out to seller for assistance I didn’t hear back and that was a bit disappointing. I was able to resolve the issue on my end and it arrived as it should. Shipping box was a tad beaten up and partially open but product inside was fine. My only advice is if the seller could communicate with the buyer when issues arise that would be helpful.
