    Just a great power tool to have

    I won't go into how great multi-tools are. Once I had this powertool, I could think of a dozen projects I needed it for prior to owning it that would have made things ridiculously more easy. Specifically, I like the performance of this multi-tool, and most of Makita's products in general. You can actually just trust this tool to do the work. It doesn't take much pressure to get clean cuts. The locking mechanism is completely solid - no loose blades, ever. The motor is smooth, powerful, and gets the most out of every blade. The weight is a bit heavy, but when held with both hands, it's easy to maneuver. I wish I'd owned one sooner than I do now. I recommend getting one genuine Makita blade to see how a good blade operates, then exploring aftermarket blades once you know how OEM is supposed ...
