    Great model that’s well engineered.

    Great molding with absolutely no flash. This is typical of Tamiya. Parts fit together easily. Lots of detail parts individually applied. The instruction book is well designed with great illustrations and is easy to follow. Not necessarily for beginners though. Decals supplied with the model are not as complete as they should be. I bought after market decals.

    Needs larger air wing

    This is a beautiful kit. Everything arrived in excellent condition. Can't wait to get to work on this baby. She us going to be one of the jewels in my collection. My only gripe is that the ship's air wing is only a third of the size the ship carried while at sea. There are several 1/350 aircraft packs available by Tamiya and other makers. Modifying aircraft to wings folded configuration looks to be a bit tricky as well. But is well within my skill set. I just wish the Enterprise was available with a mixture of folded and extended wing configurations plus more aircraft.

    Seems to be well made. I haven't put it together yet, still working on figuring out the painting. I have wanted this kit for many years and finally was able to get it!
