I was looking forward to a sequel to this story but there doesn't seem to be one to continue this particular story line was about. It's my understanding there was another play following this story line but nothing on cd so the story just ends abruptly in my opinion. Being a huge fan of the series I wasn't particularly fond of this story since I know Quentin actually never met the character Casandra (aka Angelique) but knew Angelique back in 1897. So it was a little disconcerting the author took the liberty to just think fans would forget some facts. I wasn't pleased this story put Carolyn and Ned together since he was Sebrina's brother and had a really bad attitude about Chris Jennings back in the TV series so, I felt it moved too far away from what was actually the story lines of the TV series and so my suspension of disbelief was a little bit challenged. Carolyn on the TV series had helped Sebrina gain back Chris Jennings but I don't think Ned would have been her type. What what was more annoying was the fact the story thought character of Casandra who is Angelique (but not known to Quentin back in '69 or '79) would just pick up as if he always knew it. It seemed to leave out any mystery about that, and would have been more interesting to me if he stumbled across that fact and realized she was his old arch enemy who he had brought to Collinwood in a ritual and not the character of Casandra who had married Roger. Since Quentin wasn't in those episodes til much later, but maybe Barnabas had told him somewhere at some point. Interesting but no conclusion to continue the story line so it's just out there and nothing follows it to pick it up and finish it. Read full review

Excellent trip down "Dark Shadows" memory lane in an audio continuation/sequel to the TV series. Most of the original cast return and their enthusiasm is obvious in their spirited readings, right back in character. 2 pristine CDs, a great value. Highly recommended.

I really loved this CD. Great to hear most of the original cast again. I just wish there was more. I didn't want it to end.
